Meet our Doctor

kids sailingDr. Robert Landon

As a fourth generation Oregonian, my roots here run deep. I was born in Eugene, attended Sheldon High School and graduated with my DVM in 1990 from Oregon State. After graduation, I moved to Jacksonville and began my veterinary career. I have practiced in the Rogue Valley for 18 years. After a short time back in Eugene, I have returned to Central point to stay.

Veterinary Medicine has always been my passion. The science is fascinating and the art is always challenging. Tailoring the level of care the pet needs with the desires of the owner to get the best outcome is the cornerstone of a successful relationship between owner and veterinarian.

I really enjoy all facets of general practice and the variety it affords. I have a strong compassion for animals in distress. I am proud to be their steward and act on their behalf to alleviate suffering.

I have a strong commitment to the community I live in and have been active in both Kiwanis and Rotary among other groups.

When not practicing veterinary medicine, I enjoy fly fishing, backpacking and sailing with my two kids.
