Meet our Staff

Testimonials

“ have been using Dr. Rob Landon as my dogs’ veterinarian for many years.  He is never too busy or rushed.  He gives my dogs excellent care and he is always very compassionate and understanding and patient.
Robin Dickson, Pres.and CEO, Dogs for the Deaf Inc.
If someone asked you, “Why should I bring my pet to Mountain View Veterinary Clinic?”  What would you tell them? I have been very happy with the care my Bouviers and I receive when we visit Dr. Landon.  Not only are he and his staff friendly, but they remember the dogs names and history.  When needed, a treatment plan and alternatives are discussed in a collegial manner. Their facility is very clean.  Follow-up phone calls are timely and appropriate.  I would recommend Dr. Landon without reservation. Why do you repeatedly return to Mountain View Veterinary Clinic? I continue to return to Mountain View even though there are numerous other vet clinics closer to my home in Eagle Point because I feel the care is top rate and I appreciate the personalized attention we receive.  I also appreciate that Dr. Landon volunteers time and services to the local Humane Society.
Peggy Chelgren
I first met Dr. Landon through the work he does with the animals at the Southern Oregon Humane Society.  He is the organization’s go-to person when our own vets have a heavy schedule or if an animal requires any surgery that our modest facilities connot accommodate.  I asked him to be my personal vet based on the care that he provided our homeless animals.  Each time I visit and each time I send one of our shelter animals to Dr. Landon, I know that both the animal and I receive quality service delivered with professionalism, compassion and understanding.
Ken Altine, Executive Director, Southern Oregon Humane Society.

Health Tip

Nail trimming is useful for most species, whether it is for health reasons or to simply make that pet more comfortable to interact with. Long nails can interfere with proper motion, lead to painful broken nails, or become embedded into surrounding tissues.
